WOYWW #184

It's Wednesday again....which means it's WOYWW time again! Just incase you don't know what that is....it is a fun little blog hop of sorts where you can have a nosey at what everyone is working on at the moment. Go here to check it out. I warn you though, it is quite addictive!
So, on my desk today we have some tags & gift card holders I am working on with gorgeous images that a friend of mine designed. She used to teach classes at Michael's but then silly Michael's decided to cancel all the good classes. These guys are on watercolor paper & colored with Derwent watercolor pencils. There are also a couple of candy canes on the right. Yesterday Jak Heath had the cutest Santa sleighs made with candy canes & chocolate bars. I am hoping to get a few made for the little ones to have at their places at the dinner table Christmas day. Above are a some Terry's chocolates...they aren't part of the sleigh making material...they are for my sweet tooth! Do you see the empty box on the left? Yeah, that means my cards are all mailed out! If you look really close (to the right of the stripped box) you will see a picture of my granddaughter in her Irish dancing costume. She hasn't danced for about 3 yrs. but Grandma refuses to put that picture away. Beside the picture is a celtic ATC that I did for a swap back in March. I really like it so it's another thing that I can't bring my self to hide away somewhere.
The weather is horrible here at the moment....blowing snow & COLD (-32C) Here are a couple of pictures I took this morning. They are taken from my front porch.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great WOYWW & stay warm!

  1. Love your crafty desk - that means you are busy in your crafty space... And that pic of your outside is gorgeous... We don't have weather like this with blowing snow etc so to me it's so picture perfect...I'm sure it must be uncomfortable but it sure is pretty...

  4. Wow Renee, I can't believe you've got it so cold. Ontario is still green where we are (although there's a bit of snow falling off and on). I love that little candy cane sleigh idea. Thanks for the link.

  5. Hope you are staying warm inside the house and don't have to venture out too much! Thanks so much for pointing to those great candy cane sleighs! I'm considering making them for the table on Christmas (not that any of us will need more candy by that point -- ha!) Happy WOYWW from Laura #90

  6. OMG! Definitely glad I chose to do the Caribbean cruise rather then the New England one this year! Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such a sweet comment! I had a great time on my cruise but now I am so feeling the crunch of the holiday season. I plan on getting the tree and decorations up by Friday and leaving them till...?? I hope you have your holiday plans more in control then I do! Have a great week! Vickie #3

  10. Lovely photos - but -32 - ugh! That's a tad cold! Hope you and Bill are snuggled up nice and warm in your cottage with a glowing fire and some nice music.
Nice Christmas images you are working with at the moment - hope you get finished before I do as I am so disorganised this year.

  16. Well your work space looks tidier than mine by a long way lol I work in complete chaos at the moment so I dare not join in with where you work wednesdays lol. Those candy cane and chocolate sleighs sound good, I would love to see a picture when you have made them. Your photo's look very pretty but very cold I love the way snow looks but I am not so keen on how it feels lol. Hope you have a happy Christmas and a fantastic new year
