WOYWW #185

It's Wednesday again & time for another nosey at creative desks around the world! If you want to take part go here & link up.  Today I am working on the Santa sleighs I told you about last week. I still have to find  bags of chocolate money, they seem to be in short supply this year. If you would like the directions on making these here is the link once again.
I just arrived home lastnight after spending 6 days in the city. It was a jam packed visit with 2 Christmas concerts, a hockey game, supper with our daughter & granddaughters, finished the shopping, several visits with my Mom, lovely dinners with 2 different groups of friends & coffee with the girls I used to craft with! I'm homenow for a rest!!! The only bad part of the visit was the city traffic...we are just not used to traffic jams anymore...very frustrating!
This time next week Christmas will be all over so, from my house to yours....have a very Merry Christmas & a happy, healthy 2013! Thanks for stopping by.

  5. Oh Renee, how festive does your desk look? It's amazing, I really love those sleighs!
Your few days away sound amazing, you sure know how to pack a lot in! I agree with you about city life...we love going to visit London, it's an amazing place, but oh how I prefer being a country bumpkin, living in my small Wiltshire village!
Sending hugs and best wishes for a wonderful Christmas!

  6. Hello Renee, I am so glad that my fingerless gloves gave you and so many others a bit of a giggle! I have looked at the pic again and now I see why.... Your trip away sounds like so much fun, just what was needed before a busy Christmas. I really love the sleighs that you are making, I might just do a couple myself. I really envy you having Christmas in Canada (my homeland)as you are more likely to get a white one that we are here in the UK. Hope you have a wonderful festive season. Hugs, Anne x #20

  9. Now isn't that a coincidence - I've been finishing my sleighs today. Wish I'd thought of using a chocolate Santa on mine - maybe next year.
Thanks for dropping in yesterday - just catching up now.
Best wishes for Christmas and for a happy and peaceful New Year.

  10. I did some sleighs too and it's such a good idea to use a chocolate Santa and a Kit Kat bar. My DD made little cotton sacks for hers too!
Re the Christmas tree on my blog, they are so quick... just cut out the template and glue the sides... decorate if you wish or use printed card or scrapbook paper to be quick if you want.
    Happy Christmas
