Fall Colours

Here in Manitoba we have been experiencing cool fall weather for the last couple of weeks but on Sunday it is supposed to be 25C! Our  family is planning to go to the park for one last picnic of the summer.  The leaves have been changing so the park should be beautiful.
This little mouse seems to be experiencing the perfect fall day lazing in the sunshine. The stamp is House Mouse "Autumn Cruise" which I have had in my stash for at least 5 years. It's coloured with copics.  My photography skills aren't very good so the "water & sky" don't show up very well. The lovely paper is "fallen leaves" by Kaisercraft & "polka dot orange" by My Minds Eye. Cardstock is Craft Smart. The oak leaves are Scrapbook Studio; cloud dies are Memory Box & bling is Bo Bunny.

With Love

No one likes to have to make a sympathy card but I recently had to do just that when my SIL's Mom passed away after a long, hard fought battle with Alzheimer's disease. This beautiful 2 sided paper from Kaisercraft (sea breeze), Bazzill cardstock & a sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches combined to make this simple card. The sentiment is from Sympathy Sentiments by JustRight Clear Stamps & the flourish & flower dies are Memory Box. Pearls are from Stampin Up.

Loads of Love

I'm sure you have all heard of Mo Manning & her amazing digital images BUT have you heard about her Patreon page? If not check it out. Mo had a contest on Patreon to name this adorable image. My suggestion was "Loads of Love" & I won! Woo Hoo! So, I received this sweetie free! You can find it here if you would like to have it for your collection. I coloured the image with copics….adding in my own little patterns. The DP's & gems are from my stash....I'm really bad about naming DP....I cut the bottom off of the sheets to fit them into my containers. I guess I need to start marking them somehow.

No Problama Llama!

This sweet image from Tiddly Inks was absolutely perfect for my granddaughter Emily's birthday card! She loves everything llama....her room has llama pictures, ceramic llamas, fuzzy llamas & even llama bedding! She is such a llama fanatic that the coach & players on her hockey team actually call her "Llama"! You can hear them yelling from the bench "Go Llama Go"

The image is coloured with copic markers. I also used copics to make some yellow, orange & red striped paper to die cut the 12, stars & happy birthday from. The die cuts were then coated with glossy accents. A couple of orange hearts finished things off nicely!

Live, Love, Laugh

I had so much fun trying this new technique (new for me anyway) Alcohol inks, blending solution & a can of air....who knew it would create something so beautiful! So, this is Yupo paper & I added a few drops of yellow ink in the center then let it dry. Next I added colours one at a time with a drop of blending solution & then "blew" on the wet ink with the compressed air. I really LOVE this effect! So of course I had to turn it into a card. Next step...die cuts, a daisy by Memory Box & the live, love, laugh by Recollections cut from white cardstock & coated with glossy accents. I will definitely be doing this again!

Cactus Cuties

Aren't these little cacti & their smiling pots adorable! They are cling mounted rubber stamps from Darcie's Heart & Home. I thought they made the perfect anniversary card with the cute saying from another Darcie's set. They are coloured with copic markers, the pearls are from Stampin Up & the paper is from my stash. Cute & simple....love it!

Happy 105th Birthday Millie!

                                                                     

Bet there aren't too many of you out there who have been asked to make a card for 105th birthday!This card is flying off to Dublin, Ireland with my friend Deirdre to help her Aunt Millie celebrate her big day. I wish her a wonderful day full of love & laughter....& of course cake!                                 

The image I used was a free digital stamp from Kit & Clowder just for signing up for their news letter. I coloured it with copic markers. The beautiful paper is Bo Bunny, Once Upon a Lifetime, Happy Birthday die is Memory Box, flower ribbon & gems are from my stash. I die cut the 105 & used Glossy Accents to make it nice & shiny.

Little Elf Tippi

                                                                                                                                                                                   

How adorable is this little elf from Mo Manning!! His name is Tippi & I fell in love with him the minute I laid eyes on him (as I do with most of Mo's images!) I coloured him with copics, added some Stickles to the lights he is all tangled up in, put him on some great papers, added a few embellishments & boom....a cute Christmas card is created!
