Happy Fall!

This is sort of a cross between a Thanksgiving & a Halloween card.....the pumpkins, wheat & scarecrow say harvest time to me but the witches hat, ghost & bats are definitely Halloween....maybe I should call it a Thankoween card! tee hee  Anyway, the pumpkins & fence are a digital image from My Whimsical Little World that I coloured with copics. The scarecrow, wheat & ghost embellies are by Sandy Lion & the awesome DP is Echo Park. You can join in the monthly challenge over at MWLW here. It is always anything goes & you can use any image. Award of Excellence!

 

 

My niece is the nurse educator in the emergency department of a local hospital. She was recently recognized by the College of Registered Nurses with the Award of Excellence in Education. What a wonderful moment when all the hard work you put in is noticed! Of course, this was the perfect opportunity to get out this cute little nurse by Mo Manning to make her a card congratulating her on her achievement.  I found the star paper in my scrap bucket & it matched perfectly with the copic colours I used on her scrubs (BG10, BG11 & BG13) The CS is Bazzill; the star is a wooden button from JoAnn's that I coloured with BG13 & threaded with silver sparkly embroidery floss. Remember those magnetic sets of letters & sentiments that Making Memories put out eons ago? Well, that is where the "achieve" came from. It was stamped with Bermuda Bay ink from Stampin Up.  Thanks for taking a look.

  Not sure about you but I definitely wouldn't be afraid if this little "monster" showed up at my door.....the bats are another story though! This is my Oct. make for the My Whimsical Little World Challenge Blog. The image is called  Alexander the Great Dinosaur & you can find him right here. I coloured Alexander with copics. The DP is from my scrap bucket so I don't know the company. The trees are Memory Box dies & the bats are stamps from the $1 store.
